We provide in-home holistic lactation services as well as lactation classes for parents, caregivers and health care professionals.
What Is an IBCLC?
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. They are a part of the healthcare team that provides support, education and specialized consultation to lactating women and their families. Some IBCLC are based within the hospital and provide services at the bedside immediately before and/or after birth, other IBCLCs are in private practice outside of the hospital and provide consultation to women, babies and families before birth, immediately after birth or at any point along a lactation woman’s journey.
What is a Nurse Practitioner?
Independent Health Care Practitioner with prescriptive authority. A nurse who has a Masters of Science in Nursing and has completed clinical training to become an independent practitioner in a specialty of their choosing. In addition has passed a specialty certification exam and maintains yearly educational requirements.
Our Practice
Based out of Hoboken, NJ our main mission is to provide in-home health care throughout your breastfeeding journey. We remove the inconvenience of traveling form provider to provider and bring services to you , in a familiar enviroment that focus on you, your baby and your family.
In addition to one on one lactation assessment and treatment we also provide research based education programs to your support networks such as your partner, extended family, child care providers and other healthcare providers.
